Re: my running project

A ralley pack is a pretty easy installation that does not take a lot of time. Helps to convert old mans car into muscle car feel if you know what I mean. Especially with buckets & console and sometimes you can find them cheap in a salvage yard. Man just some cheap Olds ralleys & tires would do wonders for that thing.

Re: my running project

On stock 14" ralleys 25.4 tall 205/70/14 up front & 25.6 tall 245/60/14 in the rear. 25.6 tall 195/75/14 was factory original on regular gbodys.

Re: my running project

if you trans and rear are stock and you put a smaller or taller tire on itll star to affect your speedo reading correct. you can change out the drive/driven gears but that involves removing your transmission. if everythings stock, stay the stock tire height.

Re: my running project

Yes 195/60/14 is too small IMO. Only 23.2" tall and skinny compared to the already small factory originals which were as stated 25.6 tall. On top of that as beermonkey says it will leave your speedometer and odometer off. Its a big car unless you are going for the Mexican lowrider look but they have even smaller 13" rims. I gave you my size recommendation for a little more serious or muscle car look fit and appropriate for the car and factory ralleys as well as keeping your odometer and speedometer correct. Check them out on http://www.tirerack.com and I believe you can have Wallmart and at minimum Sams club get them for you cheap as well.
