Sharp car. The 442 had a lot of great upgrades over a regular Cutlass. 3.73 8.5 rear being the most noteable but also stiffer springs & sway bars, quicker steering & the 15x7s wheels come to mind. Most people prefer the looks of white letters on them. A lot of people run 235/60/15s up front as its the stock height only slightly wider and many run 255/60/15s in the rear for a little more beef while still working well on the 7" wheel. The other links listed are helpfull. Have fun. Oh yea check out my pics if you want to see a slightly modified version of your car.
thanks for all the nice comments. it looks like previous owners have taken good care of it. I bought it at a local auction. it needs a wash as you can see from the pics. the tires are MICHELIN HydroEdge 215/70R/15. 8)
Wow thats an odd size never seen anybody run those before. Not a bad size just taller than stock. 215/65/15 is the stock size fwiw. Any planned upgrades?
I had to run out in the garage and see if my car had been taken. Our cars look identical. I have the full service manual if you have something specific you need referenced. How many miles does your car have on it?
Search for Manuals on ebay. I bought the GM manuals (2) for $50. Well worth the money. As for sites oldspower is great but I also use www.classicoldsmobile.com.
