1986 Monte carlo build

Hey Guys. Just bough an 86 monte carlo LS to rebuild. the bodys in rough shape in a few spot. Going to need a rocker panel, Trunk lid and possibly a new drivers door. Has a running 305 and a th350 transmission. Im building up a vortec 350 for it right now. Its going to eventually get a 5spd conversion when i find a good donor car. Dont have many parts for it yet. Anyone in the New England area selling any parts? or anyone thats willing to ship? let me know.

haha nice idea but ill have to pass. Got to many plans to just do that lol. anyone know how hard it is to get rid of the vinyl top? Or what you have to do other than ripping it off

I took off the vinyl top and started filling in all the rivet holes. Damn GM and there shitty ideas lol. Also started trying to fix the drivers side rear quarter panel which is pretty beat up. Im going to bring it to my house from my gfs and start taking out the interior so i can see what kind of shape the floors are in. The feel solid but i dont know. Anyone know where i can get rear trim for the back window off a non-vinyl topped monte?

First off nice project car bro. Second its not a Ls its a SC Monte the Ls would have the euro style front clip. Third I think u have a2004-r not a th350 like you think. Do you have 4 gears?

Anyways wish u lived closer I got the back window trim pieces u need. I did the sane thing on my old 86 Monte.
