Congrats again man! Welcome to the Turbo Buick world 😀 . Nothing else sounds or runs like they do. Surprisingly, these cars get just as much attention as a Ferrari. Be prepared for Q & A every time you get gas. Upon closer inspection, our cars are practically twins aside from interior color  . Make sure you start doing your homework on TB.com so you know what your in for haha. Good luck with it and enjoy it.

Yea they do get alot of looks. The best part is to give it a littel gas and let the turbo flutter that always makes people give a glance like wtf was that noise???

gnttype.org has lots of useful information too. There is lots of reading to do so you can keep your car running properly. There is also a few Buick owners in the GTA that know how to make these cars run strong.

Oh yeah one other thing..... You better get used to having people compliment you on having a nice Monte SS  It happens to all us turbo Buick owners. lol

Chris

Yeh that Monte Carlo thing happens to all us Gbody owners and is quite anoying. Im sure when you own a monte carlo its "nice Cutlass"

Wow I am so happy for you & that you held back on blowing fat bucks trying to turn the cutlass into a gn. I think you definitely made the right decision! Now you have the car of your dreams and you probably saved yourself 1,000 headaches and at least $5,000 & some minor garage injuries. GL w/ your new dream machine I wish I could afford 1 as nice as yours very good find! 😀

Thanks man, Yeh the Cutlass woulda been a hard project to turn into a GN. It woulda been pretty cool to see though. I want to say both these cars where not sponserd by mom and daddy either. I've worked about 3 years straight to afford this monster and it was worth the time and effort. To any other young Gbody lovers that wants a 442, Monte SS or Turbo Buick save your money and shoot for the best car you can find that fits the price and shape. It will be worth it in the end.

Yeh I'm waiting for the nice weather to come down upon us. I hear snows coming tommrow ... blah Thats a nice ford you got yourself lorenzo. What decided you to change from a Gbody to a real classic like that?

Well its always been my dream to have a classic car from the 50's or 60's. After seeing the movie christine i just fell in love with the way older cars looked. This car was too good of a deal to pass up and im glad i pounced on it when i did.

Well I've learnt alot about this engine and how it works in the past 3 weeks and have orderd a butload of parts... Powerlogger , Alky Kit, and a few other odds and ends. I'm planing on running the boost at around 20 psi and I'm hoping for about a 11 second 1/4 runs. This car is definatly alot of fun but I really do miss the simplicity of the Cutlass. With the buick you alway have to worrie about the small details it seems. Its a big learning curve. To anyone that is looking into buying a Turbo Regal just take your time and really think about it.. If you truly love them then you will get one. The community around these cars are great but i always feel that negativity is in the air. Alot of people act like these cars are god and act like they are the mother of all GM creations and act as if this motor will blowup just from idling ... Just be careful and these cars are great. The main enemy you have to battle with this motor is Detination.. once you get that undercontrol with Alky you can really have fun with em 😀

Anyways I'll post some 1/4mile videos after I come back from racing this weekend.
