Alright folks, got some good stuff done today. Fixed the exhaust leak on the vbands, really think i have it squared away now on that part. Hoping to get all that good exhaust into the turbo from now on lol. I managed to install some o2 sensor bungs in the hotside pipe too and one in the downpipe for my wideband. Going to try and wire that up tomorrow and the rest of my gauges.

The issue I found with the vband flanges leaking was the passenger side was the main cause of both sides leaking. The depth i mounted the pipe inside the flange was throwing off the sealing ability and also the 90 bend before was a hair too short which made the drivers side have to pull to seal up which it never did. I need a couple new vband clamps. The cheap ones that came with the headers are bent and thats not gonna fly. I have a walker brand vband clamp i got from summit for like $16 and its miles better than the others. Someone recommended them to me, now I am referring the rest of you guys lol. Well worth the money spent. Very strong clamps....

Heres the crooked original flange...

That turbo spools pretty damn quick! It didn't sound like there was much lag if any. If i recall though, you had that turbo built for your application right? If so, that makes a world of difference when trying to get under boost without the lag. Or, you bought an "off the shelf" unit that's matched up close enough with having an expensive custom unit built.

Sounds awesome man! Looking forward to delivery pics too!

It spools awfully quick lol. Kinda scary to think about it lol. But it's just a off the shelf turbo. I had done the math and formulas before I ordered it. So there was a window that I could perform with and this turbo fell in that margin very well. And thanks I think the exhaust sounds great lol. It does have a slight whistle though 😉

Alright guys, been pondering the idea of making an extra relay panel to go in the glove box to send power to my fans, gauges, etc... Well i made a basic schematic of what I'm planning on doing with it using a computer program called Fritzing. The wiring routing is a little wonky but it will look alot neater once its actually made and not on a screen lol. It took me about an hour to make it up just going by my basic electrical knowledge and learning the program as well. I think it should work. If anyone has any suggestions to make this any better, I am open to them as always. And don't let the "relays" confuse you, Its the closest to what I could find on the program that resembled an automotive relay. I was not able to wire them 100% correctly according to real life, but you get the idea. Everything works the same either way. Just dont look at the unused terminal on the relays and you will be fine lol.

Update on the big new thing for the g, the last parts of it have shipped and everything will be here by Tuesday.
