1988 Monte Carlo SS trans type

Make sure you keep your Monte SS valve body and govenor. They are special. The governor is tuned for a 3.73 gear. The pink paint mark valve body is Monte SS only and light years ahead of normal 200R4 stuff.

Make sure you have the detent cable or TV cable adjusted and you have a geometry corrector if using an aftermarket carb.

The Transgo kit mentioned byTexas82gp is the 200-4R-HD2 which includes a bigger servo.
