Greetings.

I have owned several G body cars over the years, Malibus, Lemans, Regals.

Current Ride is an 87 Grand National.

I'll post up some pics, if you've ever seen a GN with draglites then you've seen it. 😀

I built it to do 2 things, cruise with my family and run mid to low 10s

How many Turbo buick owners are on here??

Welcome! No turbo Buick for me, but I sure wouldn't mind having one...

It takes a special breed to own one of these cars they are a Very deep Money pit.

hey wassup! I have a regal, but it has a sbc 350, and is not a GN. I am kinda going for a t-type clone with the side stripe and chrome bumpers trim. I want it to look like the picture in my signature when im finished. Do you have any pictures? What do you have on the motor?

Sweet car in your sig!!

I have tons of pictures and Lots of engine work. I'll make a big post when I get home.

it's built to be a solid 10 second car, if there were less than 650 at the wheels at 28psi of boost I'd be dissapointed.

I'll find out when the new Trans goes in this spring.

What are the engine specs and supporting mods?

I could type out a 2 page list.

Major stuff is:

Race ported heads, bigger valves, ported intake and sheetmetal plenum.
Forged pistons, Billett steel main caps, ARP hardware on mains, rod and heads.
I run 72 pph injectors and a Razor dual nozzle methanol injection kit.
Turbo is a Custom built 70mm P trim with 4"inlet and 3"out.
I also run a Cotton Front mount IC

Boost is only at 20psi on the street, its too much to handle any higher.
I can add almost another 8-10 psi at will.

I've left out a lot, I'm not sure how well you guys know Buicks.

Well i cant speak for all obviously. But i had an 86 GN for 8 years that got wrecked last year and have an 86 T Type WH1 now, so i think i can handle the info. Plus im sure that everyone would like to hear how you plan to get into the 10's.

I'm certain I have the power, I just need to sort out the slipping transmission and a couple other things.
I went low 7s in the 1/8th last year and the 60ft times are 1.7 on the foot brake with an unprepped track.

Here is a Shake down pass that went lean, I aborted (you'll see) and coasted to a 12.0 According to the 1/8th time it was a 11.4 if I kept into it (At 19-20 psi)

Next pass was I made wasted the direct clutch pack.

Also Notice the Low boost launch still fried the 28" X 10.5 Slicks.
