Already reposted one above but here is another angle

After many searches, going to have to settle I think for just a hood scoop. I thought about slitting hood, welding in gradual plates to a 2" rise, but then where I'd have to add metal for the edge nearest the windshield seems too long vs buying a cowl scoop. Anyone have any particular products they like? So far I'm thinking of a fiberglass unit. Welding in a metal on on thin hood metal may have a lot of bondo as a result anyway, so figure this is best.

I was going to buy a hood for my Regal but decided to just install a fiberglass bolt on scoop from Lauren Engineering, I looked at quite a few different bolt on scoops from other companies that looked cool but I was not sure how the angles of the base would be as far as matching the hood so since the Lauren one is for Gbodies I went that route.
I have yet to install it but when I do it will be functional, it is just sitting on the hood in the picture.

^^^ once again- you have the answer... I'll contact their website- all I need for my small block build is just enough of the hood cleared, this looks great... You going to mend it in of old school bolt or rivet it? Thanks

They have 3 scoops similar to this and they all use studs that come from the bottom so you don't see them, I will run a small bead of sealer before the final install the main thing for me is I don't want to see any fasteners on top of the hood like other bolt on scoops.
