Dammit. I was looking for a 2". The 4" is too big for me. Maybe I'll find a power bulge.
On my Regal I will be putting on this bolt on hood scoop I bought from Lauren Engineering just to give some added clearance.

I like this.
It is all I am really going to need for the Regal as far as clearance and it saves me the headache of having a hood shipped to my work when I am on the road and having one of the clowns in receiving sign for it without knowing what to look for as far as damage.

I'm a truck driver. I feel your pain.

I just ordered a Golden Star brand 4" cowl hood from Summit a couple of months back for my buddy's S-10. The quality and fit were actually really good, which we were questioning at first also because of the Chinese sounding name. The marks you see in the picture on the JEGS web site are likely from the adhesive they use to stick the bubble wrap to the hood for shipping, my buddies had this also and it wiped off with some brake cleaner. We had to trim the inner hood "web" structure to get the extra clearance for his induction system, but other than that it was a direct fit. Only problem we had was FedEx crushing the first hood, so I refused it and the second one showed up perfect.

That's the real bad part about having hoods shipped is FedEx sucks these days and it seems like half the items they get shipped they smash or damage in some way. I got a 2 inch cowl hood delivered luckily with no issues although they delivered a couch and then rolled it down my driveway because the guy sat the pallet on uneven ground then tried to leave
