The problem with the Demon and other similar cars is they will cause the gov will start putting restrictions on cars and the speed they can achieve.

Bottom line in 1964 the Dodge Dart with a factory installed 426 Hemi was running 11.40

On modern rubber it would be in the 10's

50 plus years later with all this super duper bullcrap technology the best they can do is a second better????

What is the weight on the Demon? My SE, like all the other new cars is heavy. With the aluminum V6, 3700+ pounds, V8's are over 4000.

and don't forget that old Dart had a 3 speed stick vs the 8 speed automatic in the Demon. The Dart lost much more than a second with shifting and only 3 gears.

If it didn't have to meet 2017 safety and emissions standards standards the Demon would be running high 7's.

How fast would a '64 Hemi dart be if had to meet 2017 emissions and safety regulations in 1964. Not very.

Hellcat's down to 30K now!!!!!! Thanks Demon!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wonder how fast would the Demon be with a 3 speed stick, tires from the 60's on a track from the 60's
