With that video you posted the other day when they had the Red Eye on the dyno the engine did not look like it moved at all with the torque. The engineers did a good job making sure all the power got to the back wheels.

I have had no issue flooring this car from a roll. With the traction control on. I suspect that with it fully off it just fries the tires senselessly as we see in goofy videos.

Most guys race with some amount of traction control for obvious reasons. 650+ SAE ft/lbs is a lot of power.

we used engine plates in our upper end circle track cars so no power would be lost with the engine rolling with the engine mounts. We didn't care about the vibrations that the driver would feel but your's is a street car so I like to know what they used to hold the engine without affecting the inhabitants' comfort

Are you asking to see a picture of the factory engine mounts?

Thanks, now I know why the engine doesn't move ....I guess a shaker hood really isn't a shaker on the Red Eye....

Personally, I think it would look better with the red hood and black scoop. But still, it's cool!

I still like your hood the best. I love your hood, reminds me a lot of Olds W25 hood, along with the Sprintex Supercharger and Hellcat air box will go hand in hand on my GT once the warranty is done. The only mod it will get this year is the trailer hitch and wiring. Buying a new boat or almost new should be a buyer's market. Love the rap on lower quarters, something they should all come with. They have improved those lower plastic pieces a bunch, they were changed twice under warranty on our 2010, much better designed on our 2017.
