I have been trying hard to get the Cutlass done in time for this years power tour especially since it started so close to home. Unfortunately I didn't make it. I did see a lot of the cars go through our town on their way to Norwalk.
That Ranch Wagon was built by Steve Strope at Pure Vision in CA. It was featured on the Motor Trend TV show as well: "Hand Built Hot Rods." The owner of the car also owns ARP fasteners if that gives you any indication of the price tag on that rig. Thanks for sharing the cool pics guys.
Being a wagon guy, I love the '57 Ford Ranchwagon and the Studebaker Lark wagon. In the Lark, I was trying to determine what was under the hood.
All in all, great pics.
Thank you for filling in the blanks regarding my inquiries. I appreciate it. Glad to see that you and the Mrs. had a safe and enjoyable trip. Also good to see interesting roadside attractions. The 57 Ford was running a 512ci John Kaase Boss 429, according to his neighbor. The Studebaker had a '96 LT1 drivetrain. It was a Wagonaire- look them up.
