Excellent. Thanks for the info. The fan is on its own relay with a thermoswitch. I still need the ignition power though. As far as the choke, its a light blue wire? Driver side? I will leave the lockup unplugged.

This was a friends project that I have taken over. Lots of little crap needed still, but I will post results when done.

the choke wire is green (at least it is on mine) and you'll find it in the passenger side harness and you can't mistaken the connector for something else...

I just checked it tonite...I must be getting old...it's blue...

I wired my T-350-C lockup circuit to a toggle on the dash. It's good for about 400rpm at highway speed and the transmission runs cooler. The wiring plug is right by the shifter shaft. Just run ignition 12 volts from a dash mounted switch to the transmission and the other to a ground. Leave the brake cutout hooked up and when you want to pass someone on the highway just tap the brake to disengage the lockup.

Thanks for the help everyone. There is actually two open slots on the fuse block for switched ignition. 😀 Everything is working great, tomorrow I am going to clean up the wiring and head out for a long drive. As far as the lockup I am going to talk to my friend and see what he wants done. Would keep working tonight, but the neighbors across the street don't like the open headers and lopey cam.

You're transmission is the TH350C and as stated above you can run it as is without the TC lock up.
Yes the Turbo 350 did come with a lockup torque converter only for a few years 1980,81,82 (IIRC) and after 1983 most vehicles were optioned with the THM-200r4 for the overdrive and better economy.
Actually I think it was 85 when they switched to the o/d trans. My 84' MCSS has a th350c transmission in it. B&M makes a lock up kit for it and it is good to have for gas milage if nothing else. You will see about a 400 rpm drop with it locked.
