Go get the correct 4.3 mounts from local auto parts store, as I posted before. Then if needed hit up a junkyard for the block side mount from a 4.3 powered g-body. That way you are dealing with all the correct g-body parts.

The first link you posted is the right one.

However, iirc they are different part numbers for each side. The second link is for v8's and I would avoid them, just based on the fact that you can buy the same mounts that the factory used to put a 4.3 in to the g-body(which is what your first link is).

Those mounts bolt to the frame, then you have the other side that bolts to the block. If you don't have the right ones then you will need to get them from the junkyard. Sorry, i don't know off hand what they should look like.

I know it was posted earlier that the v8 mounts will work, i'd rather just keep it simple and use the factory parts, should go together easier that way.

Ok tried to start the car today and things didnt go well burning a wire inside the distributer under the cap. Bout to fix it. I have the electric fuel pump wire ready but wanted to wire it to the accessory wire under the hood. Can anyone explain to me how to do it correctly as far as rigging the inline electric fuel pump to work when turning the key. which wire could I tap into to make it work that is under the hood at the two harnesses against the wirewall.

Damn son, take a breath. If you are relying on one forum to help you with this swap then that is your first problem. I don't feel that that was pointed at me but hell, none of us are getting payed to help you.

But seeing as i'm such a nice guy(lol), I will still try and help ya, at least for now. The last time I helped a guy do what you are doing he decided to go with all MSD ignition, box, distributor, coil. But before he did, i'm pretty sure I had come up with(i think) a one year only, factory non-computer controlled distributor. That was a long time ago but I think I found the part for you, but you prolly won't like the price.
