Besides the mph off at a given mph, what Speedo gears (driven and drive) do you have now? - you may need a flashlight to see the color of the drive gear.

There are too may variables to just say "you need a 30 tooth" gear, but if you know what you have now and how far what you have now is off, that's everything you need.

Pull out the speedo gear and record the color and tooth count. Look in the speedo gear hole in the Transmission with a flashlight and record the color of the worm drive gear.

the originals that came in my 85 cutlass 442 with 3:73 gears and 2004r was a black 27 tooth gear matched to a green 10 tooth governor gear
