hey im new to this forum not sure if this is the correct place to ask but here i go...

this is what i got. hoping to get some hp numbers and 1/8 and 1/4 mile estimates. any help appreciated.

its a 1978 buick regal stock car not stripped... a th350 manual valve body 35-3800stall and it has 373 gears with mini spool.
the motor is a 327 stock bore just got back from machine shop all is checked out good. it has edelbrock rpm intake with dart iron eagle 215 heads. the pistons are dome pistons and should put me around 10.5.1 comp. the cam is the lunati 401b1. the carb is a reworked qjet and it is fastened together with arp bolts and studs. solid flat tappet cam the specs are..

lift @.50 525/540
dur @ .50 247/255
lsa/icl 106/100
Solid; Rough idle. Good Pro Street or Limited Sportsman cam for 355-406 cubic inch motors. Needs 2800-3500 RPM stall converter, headers, 10:1 compression ratio or better and 4.10 gearing.

That's a lot of cam for that motor. How high are you planning on revving it?

Your 1/8 and 1/4 will depend on your traction/tires/suspension

I am going to take a wild guess - your trap speed in the quarter will be just over 100

Well i just stuck a simular motor setup in a 79 malibu which is a little lighter then you regal and he had a shitty set of old school none ported double hump heads. He was running 12.74@106 in the 1/4. You got a better set of heads but might be a little over kill seeing how I ran them heads on my old 383 and eagle themselves told me the where a touch to big up top. You are going to have to turn tge rpms high to get a good number. Remember 327 motor are screamers by nature. My perdiction would be 12.5-12.7's @ 105-109.
