I have a sbc 350 in my '78 lemans. Would a high rise manifold be good? Not a tall high rise. And are the good on more power?

We need a lot more info to help. The size of the intake manifold's cross sectional area is a major influencer of what RPM the engine's peak torque occurs at. Larger intakes tend to rasie the peak torque RPM. Runner length rocks the amount of torque the engine produces around the peak torque RPM.

as Clone pointed out, need more info. generally speaking, hi-rise manifolds are for racing , while mid-rise are more for street use and have more usable power at a lower rpm

The only thing done on motor is a mild cam with cast iron heads (which i hate). Id love some aluminum heads. Shes gonna be more street then strip right now and maybe to the strip every now and again to open her up.

I would say at the most an Edelbrock RPM air gap dual plane

I like the performer eps for a basically stock motor. For 400 or more hp I would do the rpm. Your choice for air gap or not. I ran an rpm with a 1” open spacer on my 10:1 355.

Another issue is that SBCs have 3 different style intake bolt patterns depending onnwhich heads you are using. Pre 87 heads, post 87 heads, and Vortec heads.

Im not sure year of heads. Im assuming same year as block but i gotta check block codes.

A quick way to tell is that pre 87 heads use perimeter bolt valve covers while post 87 and Vortec heads both use center bolt valve covers.
