It's going to be 10 to 1 compression have Howards 4/7 cam swap
Which one? Any real advantage with the 4/7 swap?
I think I'm going to go with AED 750 HP ho no choke carburetor any thoughts
I assume you are down south? I need a choke up here. I think the AED stuff is good. The 750 QF Slayer is a lot of carb for the money. Everyone who runs the Quickfuel carbs love them. You also need 2000+ stall, probably more like 2500 and 3.73 gears as well.

Seriously, contact Mark Remmel(Cutlassefi). He is an Erson, Lunati and Comp cam dealer, along with custom grinds and builds Olds V8's in Florida. I have dealt with him and he has brought a 4" stroker crank to the market. His email is [email protected].

The 4/7 swap is about longevity of the engine no horsepower advantage whatsoever I have a Howard’s 4/7 roller in my 455 it’s a nice quality cam but mark is right in your neighborhood

Why a carb when TBI EFI is almost the same money these days?
most FI setups are 600-1000 for just the throttle body and accessories. a rebuilt qjet runs about $400 max with all the bells whistles and replating.
