that's the good side of something going wrong, you end up learning alot about it. If it ran great from the day you bought it you would know what you know now...
350 tbi rough idle no power

So hey guys after about 3 weeks of running perfect!!!!!!!!!!!! The thing starts acting up again!! I know i should start a new thread but i figured you guys would be able to help me more this way. This truck has just started running way rich. Smoke out the pipes it sometimes misses sometimes dont and my pretty brown spark plugs that i knew were brown because i just cleaned them saturday but now they are black like a dark dry black so i know its running rich. I thought my pressure regulator busted and was flooding it out so i took the throttle body off the silverado which i know is good but same problem. I plugged in the scanner and every code it shows me is high or low voltage on est open or shorted to ground. But i know for a fact that my injectors are not pulsing right and every once in awhile i hear a buzz then dies. I tried testing for short but cant find one
Whats up guys as much as i dont wanna add to this thread anymore with it being a problem from months ago and already having a diffrent motor in the truck i figured you guys would like to hear. I gave my brother the 350 that was giving all these issues in the truck and told him he could have it and after months of it sitting on the motor stand he finally decided to tear it down and give it a rebuild for his car. First the intake was CRACKED at the bottom which would explain all my codes and the oil burning on only a few cylinders. Next was a rounded cam lobe. Then he pulled the heads off and cylinders 4 and 6 had a crack between them where the block meets the head. And last but not least 2 spun rod bearings.
So ok im thinking what your thinking. The last owner either screwed this motor or bought it from someone who screwed it cuz we also found out this 350 wasnt stock from this truck it came from a 90 camaro so yea im thinking it came from a salvage yard.
And also my question is how did this thing even run at all!!! LOL
But like i said the trucks had the Bu's 350 for a couple months now so it runs great and none of this matters anymore but you guys tried so hard to help me fix it that i figured you deserved to know what happend lol
