355 SBC that isn't

What I don't understand is side view shows piston material over the top of the ring remaining. The top view looks like the top compression ring is exposed???
It’s because you’re looking at the other side of the piston not the side that the ring is exposed

I swear being honest gets you nothing. I'm ready to button this sucker up and tell "them" there was never any problems with this engine. I have it priced at least a $1000 below other 383's in my area. Getting a lot of inquiries and a couple lowball offers. Frustrating.
 
After ordering, and being shipped the wrong piston I broke down and ordered new replacements for the old style piston which is no longer made. The last piston had the correct PN but the seller didn't put in his add that it was a "L" left piston. I didn't know they made a left/right piston. Anyway, I got the new style that leaves about a 1/4 inch on each side of the valve relief instead of being cut all the way across. Got the piston and ring kit. I'll pass the cost along to the consumer.
