I have a 355 and switched out the heads for a set of vortecs. I was glad that all the pistons were marked ,030 cause I have heard some stories that depending on how bad the bore is some motors end up with a mix of stock and oversized pistons

I found the name of the original owner today. Trying to reach out to them to find out more information.

I had one in my 78 Malibu. 355 with 8.5:1 compression and a 144 B&M blower. It ran well, when the blower didn't have issues. They have Teflon strips sealing the rotors to the case so they are not happy with backfires.
