Here's some comparison pics. Mine was a 34mm but what everyone said still applies. I used g-body brackets.

I have used the stock g body brackets with the 36mm bushings. It takes a bit of effort to get in but can be done. I used a piece of wood and a floor jack to press the bracket and bushing up against the frame a little and then used the bolts to suck the bracket down.

hello; So the answer is to squish the s--- out of the bushing to get the bracket close enough to get the bolt in?
I don't know if that's how it should be? Anyone do one lately? Have anyone used the bushing Kirban sells?
I think we might be getting some where?

PS that Kirban one is not rubber so it's not going to squish much.

If several people have confirmed that it works with the stock G-body brackets, go with it

I wouldn't make a big deal out of it. I plan to use the existing F-body bushings with my stock 32mm (GN) brackets and be done with it.
...or you can check out the Turbo Buick/ T-Type forum and see what they're using for the same set-up.

hello; Longroof are you going with the 36MM SB? If so when are you doing the job? I'd like to here what happens.
thanks

Yes, I am going with the 36mm bar. I plan to reuse the (GTA) bushings that came with it, and use my existing G-body brackets.
It will be a while until I get to it. There's a bunch of other things that need to be done first.

hello; I won't get to mine till spring. I hope to here from people who have installed the SB recently.

hello people of the G-Body: I have stock front sway bar brackets on the brain as of late. Are all GB (gbody) FSB brackets the same? I think they might be as I got some new GM brackets for a turbo regal and there pretty cool. There not like a bent pc. of flatstock but a stamped pc. I have not seen the bushing yet that fills the bracket correctly. Do the stock bushings fill the bracket? I might buy some and see.

Quick question, are these bars on a 3rd gen f-body? 4th gen? Just curious as there are a few 3rd gens in my local U-pull-ut.

Maybe I got lucky but the bushings from the 36mm sway bar I have fit into the G-body bracket no problem.
I remember the bushing was very thin walled compared to the stock 32mm bushing.
Maybe someone did some modification to the bushing...
