Stick with the J's, do a bit of port.. mainly on the exhaust side.. add a nice 3 angle valve job.. and they will flow just as well as or even better than Cs

Not only that, but since everyone "knows" that J heads are junk, you'll have a nice sleeper if anyone cares to look at the engine.

And you can easily find them for under $50 since most people don't want them.

Have you looked into Mondello heads?
