4x4 4L80E to 2wd

yes . i build th400 and 4L80E

If you do that for a living, great. For the rest of us it's a much more time consuming task. And I speak as someone who already has a 4L80 rebuild under his belt.

It is very easy lol if it takes you more than 1 hour your doing it wrong. to remove that cup plug in the back, is nothing to do you could even use a screw to take the old one out. And tap the new one in. Attached is a picture of the one you need for 2WD
Do you have a part number. So where do you live and are you up for the job how much.

I believe anyone can do this. Transmissions are not that bad to do. I can understand when you get to higher torque # the difficulty escalates, but at these levels it's almost laughable. you could take your leather belt off and use it as clutches in sections of these transmissions and be successful  . Congratulations, supercharged111 in doing your own i encourage everyone to do it.

I was talking about you saying it taking an hour, not the doing it at all part. I watched my neighbor scatter one and reassemble it in not much more than an hour to add a reluctor for a rear speed sensor. To him it was nothing more than a Lego set.
