I went to go check out my grandpa's old truck this weekend, which my dad was talking about restoring in a few years. The truck had been sitting for over 20 years at my grandpas house, and was recently moved to my uncles shop. I hadn't seen the truck in 7 years, and being that I was only 8 at the time, I didn't remember what it looked like, and thought it'd be completely rotted out. Turns out, the truck is a perfect candidate for a resto. It does have a bit of rot, but nothing too bad. The body is in great shape except for the bent up doors and a lil rot at the back of the rockers. The motor doesn't look bad either. The truck is a 1969 Chevy C20 with a 327 and originally a 3 on the tree, but was converted to a 3 on the floor. The odometer reads 82k but my dad told me the speedo broke so its prob around 100k. Not in bad shape though considering how long it sat. I didn't get to look at the frame but if its good, my dads gonna bring it down when he moves into a house so we can work on it. Now for the pics.

Like I said before, the condition of the frame will either make or break the deal, but we definitely have the time, I just don't know if my dad will have the money 😀 . It'll be a slow process, but in the end it'll be totally badass.

There's a 68 short wheelbase stepside for 1500 bucks on craigslist here... Looks like it's in much better shape too.

If you're interested here it is, I'd try to get it more like a thousand or less though.

I kind of want it myself but I don't have the money, and I already have more projects than money to do them I'm trying to build a garage, restore my firebird, and buy a new computer.

That C10 looks awesome! I've always loved them stepsides, but only on a classic truck. The late model stepsides look retarded lol.

I agree the late model step sides are really ugly... The last good looking ones were the 86 F Series stepsides, and the 87 K/C's.

And yeah I'd love to have that truck but like I said I'm short on money.
