Found this purple vacuum hose which I think broke off from the heater box, person I bought it from or whoever worked on it last obviously put a screw in it for whatever reason. I think it broke off from here, any tips on if I can fix it or would I have to replace the entire heater box. Appreciate you guys for the response, love working on my own cars man just trying to learn as much as I can.
That's the issue. The removal of the A/C parts should of kept the purple supply line connected to the manifold source. Just do as 383_StealthRam suggest. ELCAM posted diagram is a good refernce on what you don't have causeing the default mode.
 
that hose's a good find,you're on your way.like 383_stealthram stated that missing plastic vaccum reservoir ball is a good thing to have it allows the control head unit in charge of everything.they're not very expensive either.
 
If you don't have the vacuum ball you can use an aftermarket brake vacuum canister and use it for not only giving your brakes reserve vacuum but also to feed your AC controls. that is how I set my Regal up.
