Keep in mind I'm going off what I've been told by others, I can't definitively say what will or wont clear. I'll post how my setup with the 40 series works once I get my wheels in a week or so and have a chance to get my tires mounted. As far as lowering goes, I'd imagine with rolled fender lips you could lose a little height but I don't think I'd try to tuck with a 275 tire on a 9.5" wide wheel. If your dead set on the tucked look I'd go with like a 255 tire on a 8" wide wheel

Ya he finally emailed back and said they were 9.5 inches wide. I'm thinking they won't fit. I love the tucked look. I dont like cars with big wheels and have that huge gap in the wheel well.

Here's a pic of RatMalibu's car with the TT2's and 245/40 and 275/35 tires. This is pretty close to the stance I'm goin for with the my combo described earlier. I dig the tucked look too, but I drive my car pretty hard sometimes and would shred tires pretty quick with em tucked.

he emailed me back saying he doesnt know the backspaceing.
would the car look stupid if i didnt drop it with the 18's?
Would it fit 225's up front and 265's out back without rolling the quarters? ive never done it and i dont wanna efff up my car.

would the car look okay with the 18's if they werent tucked?
would 235's fit up front and atleast 265's out back?

Yes up front 245/40/18 in the rear 275/40/18 with a backspace of 3.75 or better

There's a guy on here selling a grille, he might have a few other parts. The rear bumper fillers can be bought from Gbodyparts.com or Ebay. There's also a pair of headlight buckets on Ebay right now.
