would the car look okay with the 18's if they werent tucked?
would 235's fit up front and atleast 265's out back?

I think cars look just fine not tucking rim. Don't get me wrong, I think cars look sick tucked but the problems that go along with it aren't worth it to me. You should be fine with that tire size too.

he says all the wheels are 9.5 inches wide.
Are you guys SURE they will fit? i might go pick'm up

I really doubt a 9.5" wheel would fit up front. You could always see if the guy would let u jack up your car and throw one on just to see.

but on a 9.5 inch rim you can put at 245 tire so if that would fit on the rim it should fit on the car correct? :blam:

Check with Scott W. over on turbobuick.com, I think he has some pretty wide wheels on XRay. I'm sure you have to have the backspacing EXACTLY right, but his don't rub, even with a 2" drop.

ya i tried gettin at him he didnt answer. my dad swears they are gonna rub :/
i just dont wanna waste the money. im 19 in college looking to get some deals is all 🙂

Fair enough, I know the feeling. Give Scott some time to respond, he's really busy with the new business that DSE is bringing in, and testing it on his own car.

Man I love that car.

o, trust me. i couldnt agree more lol.
if 235's fit on 18's i dont see how theyd rub?
will i need spacers?

I am running 18x8 with 3.75 inch backspacing and 245 40 28 . I have no tire rubbing at all. I could have went much larger in the rear . The front is maxed out. When the steering is locked I am very close to the sway bar.

i just think that wheel width would rub turning when you got close to full lock or over big enough bumps. I currently a run 215/65 on a 8" wide rally and it rubs occasionally on dips in the road. With out knowing the bs of the wheels it's hard to say if spacers would be required.
