Sounds good, where did you get the paint pens?

Mad Dog is the headers that I put on there. They made them for me but they are not on there website. Excellent fit! View attachment 109830View attachment 109831View attachment 109832
Well they must like you better than me. They told me that they don't do them anymore but they know a private individual who does and will refer me. I'll have to look into that but I am thinking I may just make my own. If nothing else it's an excursion to finally buy that TIG I have wanted forever.

Very nice GP build you have going on! I’m new to this forum and recently purchased a 78’ GP/ SJ (454) 700R4 a couple months ago. It’s a very clean car originally from Idaho. I’m here to get ideas and info to finish this car. It was a old friends car that unfortunately passed away from cancer before finishing car. So I purchased it and will finish it. Your doing a great job on yours!

Drives me crazy with the moisture in Ohio! I finally purchased a car bubble that recirculates air constantly to keep the moisture from accumulating on my car. After just a few years though, I’ve had way too much oxidation and light surface rust form from just dew and moisture so my next project on the car was getting everything back to new in the engine compartment. I had rust forming on the cross member, battery tray and inner fender panels. I had corrosion on my new valve covers, brake lines, brake booster and on some chrome.
Rust and corrosion:

Thank you very much! I don’t have questions do much with the car itself. I’m pretty lucky that the car isn’t missing anything really. A few Grand Prix badges, the two behind the back quarter glass on each side. Also the one on front drive side header panel.
My questions are more about the stock 454 big block truck motor that’s in the car. It’s a good motor, starts right up and doesn’t burn oil. I’m not sure what cam to get with aluminum heads, which intake that is good for desired engine set up but will fit a air cleaner without cuttin up hood or using a cowl hood? Also questions on the 10 bolt in rear. I hear there are no 12 bolt rear diff’s you can just bolt up from anther vehicle in that car? That you’ll need to find one to modify or have one custom built? As for the 700R4 in the car, I’m thinking about getting a monster 700R4 and use mine as a core.
