Welcome aboard! Nice solid '78 wagon. I'm guessing you're out in the southwest somewhere. The interiors are what seems to take the worst beating in that region.
If the A-pillar is the worst of the rust situation, that's not bad. Floors look solid and virtually rust free,

Thanks guys. Yes the car was born in texas and has been in Arizona most of its life from what i am gathering. Supposed to be a 42k mile car. Very little rust i fixed a small hole in the passenger side floor boards about the size of a half dollar. This is the biggest spot of bad on the car so far. 88AZSS i would love to meet up sometime to get to see your ride and or to just get to know the local people into G bodys. Dont seem like there are that many around. I have almost a full interior in Oklahoma currently waiting for me to pick it up at a buddy's house. Just need to get down that way to do so. Lol i need need a passenger side wing window. That seems to be the worst part of the glass in this car.

Whose frame boxing plates did you go with?

Trick chassis it worked for the long stamped pieces but they did not lineup with the wheel arches part of the frame. So custom ones had to be made

You have a nice start. It's good to see another AZ Gbody. I am in mesa. This is when all our car shows are ramping up. I go to quite a few. I have met up with 88AZSS a few times at some shows. Hope to see you at some as well.
