It's easy to throw things together, but to do it in a way that it looks like it always belonged there makes a difference.The shaker scoop was very important to me to incorporate the opening from the Trans Am of that era. I’m sure it would’ve been much easier to make a hole and then restructure it but my OCD said I had to have it the other way. Very time consuming because I wanted the structure underneath the hood to look like it came from the factory. And thank you!
I'd bet most guys at a car show walking around wouldn't know the extra work that took, and probably would think how lucky you were that it just happened to fit the way it does.
The 2% know better and see the extra hours and craftsmanship.
Lots of nice cars this month, especially well built ls-free rides, but this one stands out.
