The shaker scoop was very important to me to incorporate the opening from the Trans Am of that era. I’m sure it would’ve been much easier to make a hole and then restructure it but my OCD said I had to have it the other way. Very time consuming because I wanted the structure underneath the hood to look like it came from the factory. And thank you!
And that's what won my vote. It's easy to throw things together, but to do it in a way that it looks like it always belonged there makes a difference.

I'd bet most guys at a car show walking around wouldn't know the extra work that took, and probably would think how lucky you were that it just happened to fit the way it does.

The 2% know better and see the extra hours and craftsmanship.

Lots of nice cars this month, especially well built ls-free rides, but this one stands out.

Congratulations!
Shaker, Hood Tach...Perfect!😍

WOW!! BEAUTIFUL!!! Don’t see those very often! My 2nd car was a 1982 Cutlass Calais with a built 403, only car I’ve ever snapped a driveshaft in half by just punching it from a light CAREFUL 😂

Awesome car. Congrats

I mentioned during the voting thread that there wasn't a bad car in the bunch of entries. I'm never going to vote against an LS swapped entry because it's LS swapped, but you have captured everything that is great about not being an LS swap or any type of swap for that matter. There are some other members here, cough D, that have put the amount of attention to detail and originality that you have - you are in that class/group.

I want to say : beautiful freakin' car, honorable effort and execution. I truly hope it drives and performs as well as it looks. Congrats man - well done!!

Jim
