79 buick regal interior to a 78?

Hello everyone im new on here and i own a 78 buick regal limited with a 305 5.0l. I recently found two 79 regals at a pick your part yard and i need a couple of parts, i was wondering would the interior of the 79 fit in my 78? Like the upper door panels, tail lights, dash speaker cover and chrome trim? Thanks in advanced any help is appreciated.

Everything should fit, they changed very little between 78-79, I know the 79 taillights will be slightly different from the 78, but they will fit. My 78 has 1980 tail lights and they fit the same
Double check your dash cover and speaker grilles, as I believe models equipped with mono radios had a center grille while stereo-equipped models don’t.
Also door panels from a model with power windows/mirrors won’t fit on a model with manual windows/mirrors

Nice sounding regal though, a lot like mine, 78 w/ 305

Yea the only problem is that my interior is camel tan and the ones at the salvage yard are red but some interior paint should get the job done

Thanks for the help for sure ill keep an eye out for those differences its tough finding parts for this year regal ive been on the lookout for quite some time now and finally two show up so im not missing out on this opportunity i just wasnt sure if parts were interchangeable
