79 El Camino Frame Questions

So im rebuilding the 350 in my el camino and my goal is to make 450 rwhp all motor and eventually spray it with nitrous. I was wondering what would need to be done chassis wise to get it to the ground. my plan was new shocks/struts, springs, solid motor mounts, shock tower braces, and a 8.5 ten bolt. the frame was brought up to me as a possible problem. what needs to be done to put 650-700 rwhp down with a g body frame?

Box the C channels and redo the factory welds on the frame. I would strengthen the rear connection points of the suspension.

I thought El Caminos came factory with boxed frames? Or am I mistaken?

Not the greatest pic but no...no extra boxing on the Camino frame. This is one I repaired the rear rails and some of the body mount holes.
