79 MALIBU REBUILD

hmm just tried one of my rims on the car and as i put the jack under to lift i noticed the frame bent just a little bit should i be worried about that is it normal or is the frame no good anymore? anyone know thanks!
 
Where did you lift from?...behind the rear tires?

what did you mean by split bench seats?? the corvette seats came with the seat tracks driver is power and manual, passanger is all manual look nice ill have pics up in a sec :mrgreen:

Split bench as in the seat is a bench, but it has a driver/passenger side.

no i lifted it right behind the front tires it only bent a little tho but it made me wonder..

and ohh thanks now i know what a split bench is!
 
i paid 450 plus 110 towing from okaland to san jo reg fees smog etc..hope it comes out good
 
I love to see an old Malibu in its unmolested state. Are pulling that origional motor Bape? I have been searching for this little part that stabelizes the a/c compressor. And I see you have one. hint-hint.Hollar back if you are not going back with your a/c. Tim
