'79 Monte Dirt Track Nose

Hi all. I recently purchased a 1979 Monte Carlo. It will be converted to a street stock dirt car. I was wondering if anyone knows if the G-Body dirt noses will fit on the earlier A-Body cars. I know they were similar, but I wasn't sure if they were in fact the same body just classified under a different name.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

if your buying the aftermarket dirt nose, I think you can make it work.
I know a few guys at the local dirt track have done it.
