8.5" posi rear core?

Just curious to ask what is a good price for a completely bare rear? Just housing, no axles, no posi, no gears and no brakes.

i would say around 250 I know a complete open end goes for 4-600

Is there any differences between a posi and non posi case? can a non posi be upgraded to a posi?

I'd be hesitant to even pay $200. I'd hold out for a more complete one. But yes, the non-posi ones can be upgraded.

At least you can find them! 😢 I would buy a the housing and piece it together. I have looked for quite a long time and have only came across one in the salvage yard and lost out on it.... So Send one my way PLEEEEAAASSE

I will be selling just the posi unit for 125 But i might have the gears from my 8.5 they where 3.42 gears i will let it all go for 175 plus shipping. All you would need from there is axles/breaks.
