I wouldn't buy aftermarket electric fans. Junkyard OEs pull a ton more air.
Yeah, I picked up my Plymouth Breeze, 98-05 fans for $40 from Westman Salvage. They move a lot of air and with the Cutlass top plate fit the stock size rad very well. I just used metal strapping to support the bottom. I can get a pic for you if you want. I would spend the dollars on a quality, heavy duty controller with about an 80 amp rating, I have blown many 40 amp relays, usually at the worst times. I agree with a large 2 core rad like the Cold Case, way better then a 3 core and not as huge and air flow limiting as a 4 core.

Just re-found this thread

I have done business with Spohn, at the time all their controls arms where made in house in PA

I have their lowers on my Malibu, Never had an issues with them
I did a photo comparsion with the ans UMI. Sphon looks way better built

Pic forsure please

This is with the 2+" wider A body rad. It covers a G body width rad almost perfect.

Well that's cool. I will have to find me one.
How's the draw for electrical power, 140 amp alt be enough?
Serpentine on there, you get the kit pacific G Body?

It is Extreme Supreme's bracket kit, Pacific G body stole it from Larry, a 94 truck sbc serpentine cradles, the bracket kit bolts the cradles with enough bolts solidly to the block, a replacement 105 amp alternator for the 94 truck, 94 A/C compressor, connection is slightly different, truck hoses do work but are an awkward angle, Camaro hoses are supposed be a better fit, 94 power steering pump, factory hoses bolt on, I believe. Either that or I swapped the two pump fittings, took 5 minutes. The later hoses have an extension with an O ring. I used a 351 Windsor crank pulley redrilled to the Olds pattern. I used factory tin plate adapter that came factory on Olds crank pullies to drill the pattern. I used a factory replacement upper hose with a 3 inch long 1.5" double side plumbing nipple and another small piece of hose to clear the alternator. Any 100 amp plus alternator keeps up with fans no problem. You do need to use a step drill to make the sbc cradles sit flush against the brackets, has threaded bushings to line up with the hole. To run a a mechanical fuel pump, a bunch needs to be removed off the bottom of the passenger cradle. The last most important part is the 1982 to 1985 Olds RWD 4.3 V6 diesel reverse rotation water pump, Rock Auto sells them. I plan on moving this to my 70S eventually and getting Sanden adapter brackets to replace the garbage R4 compressors which always eventually fail. The 4.3 water pump has a small stamped open impeller. I might contact Flowkooler and see if they can make a custom or existing CNC impeller that would and install it in the 4.3 diesel housing for better cooling. It has kept up fine with my stock 350 but I am planning a thin wall, siamese 403 stroker build, definitely more demanding on the cooling system.

Okay I figured that was Terences kits that he sell.
Makes them look alot cleaner than the old setups thats for sure.
Yeah you need the diesel water pump to boot.
Was looking at those CVF kits, but costly.
