I was running stock V6 springs in the front and sedan cc627 cargo coils in the back. The stock front springs were way to soft and made the car seem unstable at speed. I'm not usually big on lowering cars so I went with some moog 5606(stock V8 HD non-air) springs in front and cc507 wagon cargo coils in the rear. Wheels are Monte SS 15x7 3.75 back spacing. 215/70/15 front and 265/60/15 in the rear. Before and after pics attached. It seems just a touch too high now. I'd like it somewhere between the two. What do you guys think?

Looks good to me, but I like to drive them like a normal car (ie, not crawling across every little dip or minor bump). They'll settle a little over the next year or so, based on my past experience. I prefer the 5660s, a lot firmer spring, the OE-spec ones are too soft for my liking.

Looks good . If everything is functioning properly, I’d leave it as is.

You could cut a 1/2 coil off the spring if you like. That will also stiffen the spring a little.

I think it looks great the way it is. I'd leave it alone for a while till the springs settle in and see how much it drops once you get some miles on the springs. Then if you feel it's still too high for you cut a quarter or half a coil off.

Nice Malibu, looks good what kind of times you running?

Running pretty consistant 12.70's @ 107mph at the end of last summer. I'm pretty sure there's more in it though. Just installed a wideband and at WOT I'm seeing 12:1 so a little rich. Also thinking about stepping up to a 3000 rpm converter and double pumper carb. Not sure if it's worth the sacrafice in driveability though because it's a really good driver now.
