Your wagon looks to be in very nice shape!
Until recently, many guys didn't even know that these lenses existed. However, I had been looking for a set for like the past 10 yrs or so. I knew that they existed.swissmalibu said:It's funny because in Switzerland we like to put US lenses and apparently in USA you like Euro Lenses :!:
I don't have the front Euro lenses... The precedent ower told me that he has changed to US version but he didn't give then to me, maybe broken??

Your Malibu is very nice, a beautiful Wagon. Congratulation for this buy.
Cedric,in france it's also funny because we like to put US lenses  .
Maybe we will meet us on the road, I often go to Northern Alsace (I lived there 37 years), Alsace is near to Switzerland.
As the saying Jack, I also have a Wagon (1983) with European Taillights But my Wagon was Made in Baltimore (Maryland, USA). In 1984 the Wagon arrived in Switzerland or it received the euro lights. A few years later he arrived in France.
I also have to keep my euro taillights for the technical control, otherwise I must make a change request from the certificate of title (Car collection) for driving with USA Lights in legality.
Good luck finding them, Josh.Josh Hanna said:Very nice car!!!! i would love to find a set of thos tail lights too. my brother in law has a set and i cant find them anywhere! any ideas where i could find a set? or just the black covers that surround the tail lights? 😀
Yeah I know thanks and have you seen the covers that go over the lights? Brian has a set on his wagon and I think IAM going to take then and have a set made for my el.Longroof79 said:Good luck finding them, Josh.Josh Hanna said:Very nice car!!!! i would love to find a set of thos tail lights too. my brother in law has a set and i cant find them anywhere! any ideas where i could find a set? or just the black covers that surround the tail lights? 😀
They're extremely rare in this country. Brian was lucky to find a set. You'll most likely have to get them from a European member.
I looked for them for many years. Now I'm looking for another set.
They will require a little rewiring, but no big deal.
I think I know what you're talking about. I've seen the cover on Ebay a few years ago. They're actually made by GM as an accessory. It's a black frame that goes over the lens, and kind of divides the lenses and backup light. i think there also might be an amber lens that covers the clear white backup light. I'm trying to remember.Josh Hanna said:Yeah I know thanks and have you seen the covers that go over the lights? Could you post a pic of the ones that are on Brian's wagon?
