BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

That's lookin' slick, man.
I agree, looking good... mine would probably be father along, just haven't had space/funds/etc.:blam:

Good to see you're still around Jack  I don't frequent forums near as much anymore so it's nice to see a friendly 'face'.

Doober, how have you been my friend, well enough I hope. I wish I was farther along also, but I am in the fast lane to completion for the body and drivetrain.

Check back some more.

Hey Darren,
Good to see you're still with us, and haven't given up...🙂 I do notice that you drop in from time to time. Even if certain tasks take longer than you'd like, they still get done eventually.
Hang in there buddy...it's always good to see old friends pop in after years of being on the forums.

Things are good, life stuff has been happening so there hasn't been a lot of available time/space for the car... i.e. currently in the process of wedding plans, but part of those involve driving the Malibu so I'll be getting it driveable and looking fairly presentable for after the wedding.

I here ya there, just glad to hear things are going good.

OK, finally can get back at this. I'll be leaving work here in a few hours, and will get back it tonight, tomorrow and Sunday. I hope to have most of the sanding done! Then it'll be buff, and paint the W30 stripes on the hood, and repaint the glass frames. Still some time to put in it, but April is upon us and I want to be driving it in May.

Thank you!

Got on it for a few hours yesterday, I managed to get the gate and left side finished in 5000 grit Trizac.

I've got the passenger side to 2000 as I type this, I'll have it to 5000 by the end of today, and I'll be starting the roof.

Been away all week, and will be away this weekend. So, no progress on the wagon.

Sorry for the long delay in posting, I've made a land acquisition and it has been taking up a ton of time. The upside is, I'll be really close to Carlisle so I'll make all the meets.

Now, I have gotten back into sanding the clear because I HAVE to, I need to get the car from it's current location by the end of May. My buddy is selling the house so I need to get it done and out. This will entail late nights and hard work. It is necessary though, I need to drive it.

No pictures, but I hope to have the roof sanded by Monday morning, so I can repaint, again, the door frames. And also the 442 stripes/rectangles on the scoops.
