BUILD THREAD 81 Buick/Olds Turbo Wagon 02/15/2024 More Parts!

Well, I got the hood blocked out, the roof has been compounded and polished, and the gate and sides compounded. I hope to have it home not this Monday, but next.

Will it be back on the road by mid-June?
Not likely, I have to go to Gulfport for the last 2 weeks of June for some Air Force training, so July is more likely. I'll get it road worthy and drive it. That means the interior won't be completely done, but I need miles on it to dial in the tune. I'll do the interior over the winter.

Well, June first is here. I'll be polishing it out tomorrow night, Saturday night and Sunday night. Should be hauling it home on Monday, weather permitting. I'll have to look back in the thread, but I believe I wanted to get it done by the end of May. It won't be totally done, because I still have to assemble it. That is going to take some time, since I won't be home for the last half of June.

I've got the hood all polished out.

Here's a sneak peek...

Well, last night I went through the second stage of buffing it out, a polishing compound. Tonight will be the fine cut polish, and I'll be able to bring it home tomorrow.
