I had the accumulator apart to cut down the stock governor to GN spec so no bad springs. I think it was out of spec from the factory a bit and the band has worn.
I measured it better last night and it had .16" of movement. I welded .1" from your recommendation and its to .06 now. Hopefully its better!

Post your results, you can only bandaid a band so much. Also, is your TV cable set correctly?

Update. The lt blue thrust washer was the way to go. I pulled the spare trans out last night and yanked the valve body. After a good cleaning, I installed it in the rebuilt trans. A few air checks, and I installed it.
I initially had the trans cooler lines leaking, damn stainless, but after that, I took it for a road test. All gears and wonderful form shifts. No WOT runs yet, but the short test drive yielded good results.
Now to fix the a/c. The damn lines from highway stars blew a seal or something. I have to look into it. I also have to replace the turbo oil drain, it leaks at the joint.

The first thing that popped into my head was: What throttle body TV cable mount system are you using for that 200-4R...? Completely forgetting that this thing is NOT LS swapped. I am such a D-bag. 😉

No ls in this one, the turbo 6 keeps it interesting. Also, I thing your wheels are wided, but no matter, these wagons look bad *ss with 12+" wide rear tires.

I started digging through over 170 pages trying to find what your rear combo is - but, I just got lost re-reading old posts. Care to save us all the time and repeat it for the class?
Mike, its a 17x11 wheel with a 315-35/17 tire, nt555 extreme. The frame is also notched with the wheel well lips removed and rewelded.

That wagon looks great in the dark blue. Hood looks awesome on it, makes me want to get a 78-79 cutlass just for the hood!
On a trans note on my car-
Yeah I am thinking my band is shot on my 2004r, or the clutches just cant take the power. Put my adjustable FPR on got the fueling like it should be and felt comfortable giving it some boost. Rolled into it from a stop up to 5800rpm without a hint of a 1-2 shift until i let out. The one time it did connect from 1-2 WOT at 10psi was from a 15 roll and it felt like a second or two to complete the shift.
Apparently a mild cam stock turbo 4.1 will punish a 70k mile stock 2004r.
Thinking of going with a CK shift kit and servo and a general overhaul kit form them. Shouldnt need to do the direct feed mods or a billet drum for my power level.
