81 Elky dash wiring question

have an 81 Elky. I'm putting in an oem gauge set. Not sure which wires in the 18 pin connector belong in which slot of the connector. including pic of where they are now but not sure its correct. Could somebody verify whether I have this right or not?

I believe this is how they are currently (but color blind here so could use some help)
1 -empty
2 - tan
3 - green
4 - pink
5 - gray
6 - lt blue (2 wires)
7 - empty
8 - drk blue (2 wires)
9 - black

10 - empty
11 - pink/black
12 - lt green
13 - yellow
14 - dark green/white
15 - tan/white
16 - pink/black
17 - white
18 - orange included photo's. if someone could double check this for me I'd really appreciate it...

This is the pin diagram I used on my 79 Monte Carlo. Hope will help.
Just as a added heads up....the gauge set you are installing is the 78/79 set. There was a change in the resistance used in the temperature sending unit between 1978 and 1979. I found out my set is a 1978 set and required the AC/Delco G1852 sending unit. If your gauge stays below 100 degrees when the engine is warm...you have a 1978 set. FYI.
