Has anyone ordered rear bumper fillers for thier wagon? I searched on-line and found two places
Autobody fillers USA, and E&K bumper fillers.
Autobody fillers usa is all abs plastic fillers, I ordered Elcamino rears because they didnt have a
malibu or lemans wagon application, thinking they would be the same,
Needless to say they are way to small so with a phone call i'm sending
them back- seem to be nice people so far.
E&K only has a fiberglass wagon application and claims, abs is not available, so I just ordered them.
anyone else go a different route? comments....

I think you pretty much covered the bases as far as choices are concerned. It's either finding good used ones, or go for the fiberglass fillers. I'm not aware of anyone making them in OEM style urethane. That would be nice, though.
The only ones that fit would be either be for Pontiac or Chevy wagon, not coupe, sedan, El Camino.. nor Buick or Olds wagons..
That pretty much narrows it down.

Here's another source: http://www.replica-plastics.com/EditPar ... =Chevrolet
Here's how it's listed: 1978-87 Malibu Wagon GMU 73 RLF Rear Left Filler $39.00
GMU 73 RRF Rear Right Filler $39.00

Thanks Jack
Trying to find good used wagon parts of any kind is almost impossible, and used bumper fillers
never seen any for a wagon.
I shouldve posted this question before but didnt think of it. Im suprized Elcamino fillers dont fit
with them using the same bumper but lesson learned

Here are the two bumper filler companys that have malibu and lemans wagon fillers, In case someone
else is interested.

Troy,
It seems as though wagon parts have been thinning out quite a bit these days. Perhaps it depends on what part of the country you live. I know down here in Flori-duh G-body cars have pretty much dried up in my local U-Pull-It.
When they get something in, it's usually some roached out POS that don't have many good parts left to take off.
Forget about wagons. They used to be so plentiful...those days are gone. 🙁

Oh, BTW, if you take a good look at the quarter panels on an Elky. You'll notice that they're shaped different than a wagon. I've made that observation quite some time ago.

Good luck man! I'll be sure to be tuned in to see your progress. 🙂

You'll need 301 pontiac motor mounts out of a g-body only car. I have some if you interested. Need cleaned up and painted $40 shipped. (shipping costs suck these days!) Pm me. Check pontiac headers post in the lemans/grand prix section. A guy on ebay (I think casnubby) sells them for $500 which is really a sweat deal. Nothing fits pontiac motor in g body off the shelf and needs extensive modification. I probably have 30= hours in mine. I'll never do it again. Nice choice for car by the way!

Thank you, PM sent. Thanks for the tip about the headers, I got a set of F body headers with the 400 and I guess
they wont work, I'll check that guy out on Ebay.

Making some progress with the wagon. Finally got together with a buddy, made a plan
and started the actual work on these cars.
1 Get this parts cars stripped, before the Olds guys get carried away, this car is to far
gone for me to restore it so it has to uses, parts for the wagon and parts to restore my
other 442!
2 Set up my already packed garage with some MORE Equipment
3 Restore all parts for Wagon, the 442 is next, Also, I'm already in the process of restoring
my dunebuggy.
4 Will be working 1-2 days/nights a week to get this moving, so pics will be coming.
5 After parts car is stripped, front clip off the wagon, clean up engine bay and paint
6 Check, clean, repaint rear, possibly install posi (its a 3 TG) so its open.
7 Suspension front and rear.
8 Im setting up my garage to do my own painting.

Heres a few pics so far...
