Looks good! I wish my garage was that nice & bright too. Mine looks more like a medieval garage. I'll have a moat to go with it if this rain keeps up.

I had mine hard piped to the compressor, but it eventually leaked from vibration, so now there is a short piece of tfe 3000psi line in there.

It looks great though and having a big compressor and air outlets is the best

Thanks, so far its working great. I'l be putting it to a real test soon.
I was worried about vibration to, they say to put rubber feet on the compressor legs because the vibration
will stress crack the legs or the pipe. I couldnt find anything around here, so I made my own vibration pads.
1/4" rubber doubled with rubber cement and cut to fit the legs then 51/2 in concrete anchors. Heres a pic

Thanks, setting up the garage is just as much works as the cars. But hopefully it will be worth it.
Rain sucks around here too. lol

I wasnt going to put this up but I figure it may help someone who is thinking about a
sand blast cabinet.
I looked around at several of these type of cabinets and decided Harbor freight was just
as good as any. Normal cost for cabinet $299, the day I went to get it they had a big tent
sale so it was marked down to $199 plus 20% off brought the price down to $159. Great deal!
Next dust collection for the cabinet, found a site that recommended a small 1hp shop vac and
it looked pretty good in the picture. Found a small wall mount shop vac $29.99 and set it up
using a few new and old shop vac parts and 2" alum flat stock, heres how it looks.

The pads are nice. That shop vac dust collection is pretty sharp too. Have you tested it out yet?

X2 on this 😀 "the shop" is half the battle most definite!!! cant wait for the" real test"

Got some work done on my other garage, lights and vents. Now I'll be able to work on two cars at once depending on
what needs to be done.
Busy with the dunebuggy; engine pulled for freshing up, degreased trans and engine bay, swing arms etc for blasting
and paint.
Parts car should be stripped and out here this week, my wife will be happy.
Finally used the blast cabinet to clean up my dunebuggy header, worked very well. Very little dust, however i'm using
black diamond (very little dust) for most of my stripping, at first I thought it mite be a little to coarse but seems to be fine. The only problem with the blast cabinet is its size.
