Hello everyone,

Well heres the story started off with a 81 GP. Had a shade tree mechanic work on it calls back 2 weeks later the car was stole. Mechanic gave me a 81 MC which was a POS...when i first got the car it needed a front cap seems someone hit a tree or something...second problem was the car needed a engine the chevy v6 that was in it was knocking and smoking so i bought a used chevy 305 and dropped in it... heres a couple of pics of the car...i still need a grill thou...a few mods ive done is switched the dash lights to gauges...dropped in chevy 305 / 700r4

So far i replaced upper BJ,lower BJ,springs, shocks, and sway bar links. I plan on upgradining to a SS steering box soon and dropping the car off at a paint shop for paint and body alignment. I plan on also building a 350 sbc or something I already have a set of vortec heads bare that will need to be reworked. Still looking for a cheap sbc 350 or 400 block

Good start so far bro.what color u planning on also you going to put dual exhaust?

I have no idea what color im going. Car already has duals with glasspacks I plan on swapping them from flowmaster 40s. I also have a brake problem. The brakes feel real soft and I have to press them to the max for the car to barely stop.

Could be a brake booster or a brake line.

Are you doing any type of brake upgrade? If not just replace them.

Update: got my headlights, turn signals wired up and installed grille. I also installed a new starter..still cant seem to get the high beams to work...when i hit the switch to turn on high beams all my headlights turn off..im sure its wired up correctly..what else can I check
