Are all the gbody doors the same or are they different. Just curious because I have a friend with malibu doors with manual windows and I would love to just swap my doors 83 Regal for his Malibu doors. They look pretty similar but not sure if they will work.

I FOUND SOME UNIVERSAL DOOR BOTTOMS, I WORK AT A BODY SHOP SO I GUESS I WILL HAVE THEM FIXED HERE.

i remember looking into this something like 10 years ago and im pretty sure i remember the tops of the doors being different and i think there was something else that was off too. cant remember, just remember they were different. ask a regal guy to take a close up pic if you know any on here.

Very interesting, I ran into this problem when I rebuilt my 84 cutlass, I replaced the drivers door with an 83 regal door and the passenger door is off of an 87 cutlass. Both have the same body lines, hinge plates, bolt patterns, even the door panel clips are the same and in the same location. You couldn't get an easier bolt on replacement door than a regal.
