About 3 cans of brake cleaner, 2 cans of engine degreaser and a can of WD-40 later and it's starting to look like an engine. Going with a tu1 cam and keeping the 706 heads. Anybody know a good shop in South Carolina for headwork???.

Well thankfully I talked to shell and they are going to pay for the damages to my truck. I filled up at their station and basically bought a tank full of water. So it's been at the shop, I was told it would be 1500 to fix and I have to have a truck and was going to get rid of the cutlass. But thankfully their gm came through and paid for everything. Here's what was in the tank.

I also got my cam in from speed Inc, I went with the tu1. Waterpump, timing chain and thermostat came in also. Got the block painted and everything put together. Broke a bolt sadly on the water pump. Thinking about being a dirtbag and just leaving it for now.

Thread from the dead. Lol. Cutlass went through a hibernation period for most of last year but ended up dragging it back and finishing some things up. Got the cage powder coated and body dropped back on, floors and firewall in, pedals mounted and the 5.3/t56 mounted. It's coming along, slowly but surely.
