86 442 wiring question

I picked up an 86 442 that had been converted to a small block Chevy previously. I think jack the ripper did the wiring conversion ! lol If I get a wiring harness from a Monte SS will it plug into the connector under the wiper motor ? This would give me all the connectors routed to the correct side of the engine ? I would assume being corporate cousins everything is the same. Just wanted to see if anyone else had gone down this road before I go scrounging.
