mechanical is easier to deal with than body work so if the frame is good and the body isn't filled with bondo I'd get him down to 2,000 and grab it

That looks like a T Type and if so, that would explain the 8.5 rear end. My brother had a T type, it's the same as the GN same 3.8 turbo motor was in it.
